Ruger SR-22 NOT an SR Trainer!May 18, 2012
Out of the box initial review and thoughts of the new SR-22. First note, do not buy this gun to serve as a 22 trainer for your SR series service or concealed carry pistol, because the manual of arms is NOT the same. DO NOT TRAIN ON THIS GUN IF YOU RELY ON A RUGER SR PISTOL FOR DEFENSE. This is probably going to be a great little pistol and another big hit for Ruger, but its should not really be considered part of the SR line of pistols. Its unique among Ruger designs at the moment.
